Evil dead 2 part 1

Genre is established through sound mise en scene as well as camera and editing. There are dramatic non diegetic sounds throughtout to tell the audience that this is a horror since it is the type of sound that builds tenstion and drama. The cliip starts with dark lights and a somewhat creepy slow voice to further enhance the fact that this is going to be a tenstion built dramatic horror. Even the setting of the cabin is dark isolated and desolate, somwhere where the audience would not want to be by themselves. The costume is just normal clothes for a man and woman to be wearing which futher creates the tension of whats to come, in that the costumes are so normal that whatever is to come is a massive shock to the audience. When the monster is coming towards the woman, the camera pivots up and down a lot so we can get the view from the monsters eyes which creates even more suspense, which is futher highlighted bt the close up of the woman when she is attacked. The characters are introduced in a normal driving situation not knowing whats to come which futher  emphasizes the genre of tension horror. The narrative is clearly established through the the narrators voice telling the history of  the book of the dead. constant mood of tension is created throughnon diegetic sound, especially the kissing scene which is so normal but it is made full of tension with this sound and lighting. the enigma is created at the beginning about the book and what evil it brings. At one point when the camera is coming towards the woman through the window it pivots up and down in such an unprofessional way one would not believe that it is a professional film, but this use of interesting type of camera use make the clip more realistic.
